Well here I am, having just read benefitscroungingscum post on her coin operated electric meter and the saga of just trying to sort out how to make it useable! In the words of Victor Meldrew..... I just can't believe it.
I am also awake when I should be asleep, so really writing for my own benefit. I have EARACHE. No one else is awake so I thought I would shout here. When I was a child my mother used to send me to stay with her mum if I was unwell, as she worked & its cruel to leave a sick child alone all day. My gran used to warm flannels to put agaisnt my ear. Sadly she is no longer with us. Earache hurts and it makes me miss my gran. middle aged sulk occuring. We don't do flannels in our house, is that bad? So can't even self help. Moan Over on EARACHE.
I think I am addicted to Horlicks, I like the malt horlicks, we ran out yesterday and I found myself quite panicy about it. I didn't really feel OK until I went out and bought some today.
Ehlers Danlos is rubbish some days, when one has a stupid bug, it has to join in. Sublucates today go,,, knee X about 20, thumbs, little fingers, hip, si joints.... I am even boring myself with the list.
Good thing today was out to lunch with daughter, we sat and ate good food by a roaring fire in local hostelry..... I only embarrassed her mildly today when I choked on a piece of parsley... some with EDS will know that random choking is a regular occurence. note to self.. concentrate when eating, actually thats probably why I have EARACHE I probably have parsley in my ear. BG if you are reading this my guess is you will agree. Actually change that to twice, my bendy fingers don't cut food too well, so I chose whitebait which is sufficiently small as not to need a knife and fork, daughter was mortified as I greedily ate with fingers. She has EDS also and so asking her to cut up my food is a step too far when cutting her own is painful. In the end we agreed that we were both equally embarrasing as she only randomly dropped one drink due to EDS for some reason hands let go of drinks with no warning. Sometimes they just tip all over the floor when a thumb dislocation allows them to elegantly tip as though an invisible fairy with a naughty streak is actually in charge. Fortunately we were sitting on a very comfy leather sofa so no smashed glass, the pub dog slurped away merrily, ice cubes n all. (It was not an alcoholic drink by the way I hasten to add) as heard on the news today about a bull mastiff's owner who has just been prosecuted for giving his, 3/4 of a can of strong lager plus doing something else I can't remember. He has been fined and banned from keeping a dog for a year. I have animals and love them dearly but do have a staffie who would eat & drink anything given half a chance. His bed is checked daily for stolen morsels, the contents of which vary enormously.
Feeling quite proud that I am not obsessing about spelling.
OK thats me done.
