Watching a I want to be a chef type programme,in the background whilst doing the blog thing. Think its Masterchef didn't see the beginning. Is it just me or do the would be chef's have a madness about them or in their eyes which is mildly alarming? Most of them to seem to cook things that anyone who has had to make an evening meal regularly will have tried at some point or other. Apart from those that want to give a go at fusing their food with very strange ingredients. Each to their own I suppose and if I have help to do all the chopping and lifting and draining carrying the plate to table etc am sure I could serve up equally disgusting looking food. One can't knock their enthusiasm though but wonder at the wisdom of wanting their culinary disasters on national tv!
Blue badge through, I look a hundred years old in the picture, its so not funny. Always wondered about the picture as no one ever sees it. Good job too in my case. Did have a blue badge and am entitled to one, but had let it lapse stupid story which won't bore here. So having avoided going out really for ages due to inability to walk from car parks to shops thought I would give it a go. Having no money changed my mind and went to local garden centre and looked at lovely plants which I also can't afford. The experience was nevertheless enjoyable, particularly the yummy cake in the cafe. This programme is making me hungry so am off to get some brie, no one else is up and I can push brie flat on a wafer and pretend I have some watercress to go with it which is my current munch favourite. So will be going to local farm shop to get some more tomorrow. Can't understand though why they don't buy it from the watercress farm half a mile up the road, I suppose it may be the same reason they sell really really expensive tartan rugs from Scotland when we are on the south coast!! I want to buy one of their honey pots with the little bee on the spoon but just know it would end up a disgusting gone off thing in the cupboard, so will buy my watercress and not a tartan rug or a china honey pot with a bee on it. Then will go to local farm to buy some meat, except that I probably won't as it is soooooooo expensive but will buy one of their packs of bacon & cheese wraps in puff pastry yum yum yum. Off to get my brie, glass of milk and probably follow it with a piece of rasyberry chocolate, its dark and truly delicious. Am also thinking I must have pmt for all these food wants and needs....

Hello Blog,
not much internet access these days, which is probably a good thing. Pop on to read emails and that blog I like from a bendy person which am not sure am allowed to mention due to copyright! So I do that, on daughters laptop, then waste a few more moments doing this and that then I get on with life. Which at the moment is of the hobbly sort, husband got in from work and tentatively asked if there was a reason my leg looked so peculiar, charming.... not being in a particularly good mood it didn't go down very well!. Now I can't really say leg is shit because I have EDS can I every day. grump grump grumpy me.....
On a lighter note, everywhere I look there is a daffodil, millions of them fooling me into that spring feeling. So ventured out today without a coat, massive mistake.... cold bendy people don't warm up, so heating on full blast and thinking of asking for a fire to be lit, everyone else in the family is complaining that I am trying to kill them with heating and making loud complaints about the whole thing. This happens every year i am rubbish at controlling my temperature so when the sun shines and then the evenings are chilly my body goes into hyperdrive and shivers and shivers uncontrollably, so warm pj's furry very unsexy slippers and warm tea revives. Do feel sorry for rest of family though as son can't take off anymore clothes without being naked, woulnd't bother me in the slightest as try and tell him he was born naked this does not go down well and the disdain a teenager grunt emits needs no words.
To be truthful a little fed up with teenagers at the minute, shoulnd't complain though as had some lovely mother's day presents and I expect that is why they are being so revolting today, over niceness yesterday requires, moody recalcitrant and downright out of order behaviour today.
Feel as though i only moan on here which is probably true. Thinking I should write a funny little story but don't have one to be honest right now. Oooh sadly excited though that am having cleaner twice this week, its pretty hard work having a cleaner as one can't live in chaos as cannot expect her to do the stuff that normally gets left as need the stuff underneath done! Am nagging everyone pick that up don't leave that there, probably should have done it years ago and the whole place wouldn't be so completely untidy now. however I am not by nature naggy and so this naggy me is even getting on my nerves... can I really be looking forward to the days the cleaner isn't to come and we can go back to relaxed chaos. Except that really I hate it, I worry if someone knocks on the door at the awfulness of it all so it is much much much better to get this cleaning up and running and am hoping in time I will get used to it.
Am thinking of deleting all this as its just a lot of extremely purile crap really but hey thats my life or at least a bit of it that going here for the moment. There is more truly but that would involve concentrating a whole lot harder than am able to right now.
Did have a bizarre experience yesterday, lunch at parent's and I was sitting in the middle, father at one end, mother at the other, husband opposite. Suddenly I started grabbing plates and glasses much to the amazement of everyone else at the table. Now this was my experience, as far as I am aware the table tilted and to me it looked as though everyone at the far end of table was about to have their lunch on their laps, I still think this happened. Am I going mad, was it an hallucination, still don't know what happened. The weirdest thing was no one asked if I was ok, I did say to my mother the table did just tilt right up didn't it to which she replied, no S.......... it didn't and that was that. I found myself saying oh perhaps it was something to do with my ears. My ears why would they 'imagine' the table tilting. Its a mystery. Still can't believe no one wanted to check my vitals or something and just carried on with lunch. Note to self, speak with other half to check that I am not doing these things all time and everyone around me is just being polite!!! by not saying anything.
Well blog thats it really, can't type anymore.
sweet dreams......

Really knackered and its the middle of the night. Now normally one would just go to sleep following the knackered part but something odd is going on in my ribs and laying down is not normalising the situation at all. So sitting up it is for the moment.
Now as spring has come early things which the sun shines on are showing that they are not as clean as they could be. So with that in mind, husband leaves the house each morning with a wry smile and strict instructions not to attempt to clean anything. This is all very well but despite the fact that I now have a cleaner once a week which is fantastic and other halfs bright suggestion that we need her everyday which we cannot afford I sat and looked at a curtain which with the bright light shining on it really really really needs washing. So determined at least to be one of those housewifes (disabled git I should say) who can achieve some level of satisfaction (bearing in mind we live in the untidiest house in the whole world) I thought if I sat and thought about it long enough I could sort it out. So because for some reason my youngest is currently obsessed with this decoraters ladder thing with a platform on it (it must have a proper name but i don't know it) bearing in mind he went through a phase of taking all the handles off the doors when i say obsessed I mean obssessed so this contraption is in the middle of the kitchen! I decided that it certainly would be an achievable task to push said object with backside close enough to walk up the three steps and stand on platform to pull wire out of hoop and then let curtain slide gracefully to the floor because of gravity to be deposited in washing machine. Easy peasy......
So with a determination about me I put said bottom agaisnt 'object' now I am just under five foot and these days weigh just over 8 stone so one would think this would work. However the 'object' I now know needs to be fully extended to be stable, so backside in pert mode (hands too liable to dislocation and despite hand break being over a year ago now, bone still displaces continually, using them as nature intended is out of the question) I set about task. What actually happened is still a little hazy suffice to say is that things did not go to plan, pushing the 'object' caused a domino effect around the kitchen which involved cats, dog, me, broken glass, dislocated knee, fortunately so loose these days and such a common occurence I can relocate myself without entonox. Cat freaked at screeching sound 'object' made as it crashed to floor, landed on dog who thought it was being attacked by cat, cat thought mmmm have made the wrong move and jumped on the draining board knocking off glassess which also crashed or should I say smashed to the floor. Dog a beautiful but brute of a staffie is scared of cat so along with bulk and my backside pushing the 'object' which lost its platform and ladder bit and folded in on itself and the dogs attempt to hide behind me from the cat, I think my back bending knees which should not have put themselves under any more stress than really standing up today, caused the fall to the floor which was I feel one of my more gracefull 'trip or falls' to be honest bearing in mind the circumstances. With my pride very bruised and really feeling quite dejected I once again as is normal in the life of the hypermobile got about the getting up of the floor thing, fortunately once the dog had calmed himself his staffie bulk comes in handy at these times and he stoically allows me to use him as a prop and he lets me actually use him to pull me up. He is really good at this and due to his strength and the fact that I am not huge it is probably in doggy land pretty easy stuff for a Staffie, he loves it as he knows when he has helped he gets a gravy bone, so very much worth it. Knee relocated, pain relief taken and horrid knee supports on, cats safely upstairs, I set about thinking how to extrapilate myself out of explaining the complete carnage in the kitchen. Do you know what blog, rather than face the trauma of severe telling off for attempting said task I white lied.... awful I know, I blamed it on the cat and said that cat came in with a mouse which set off the scenario of events pretty much as described as above just leaving the bit out about me. I still feel guilty and may well confess but much later, like next week later, or month ..... fortunately husband doesn't do the internet otherwise he could read the whole lot here and I could fess up that way. So blog, I've told you and thank you for listening.
Must remember to ask cleaner to get curtain down etc,, cleaners list is so long even I can't believe it but it now. It has sections (how sad is that) so an hour and a half is spent doing essentials and ignoring the essentials that can be put off until next week or possibly the week after.... and the last half an hour doing a job that is on that spring cleaning list which at this rate will be finished next winter. Never mind I got taught how to do all this achievable task thing at a pain managment course and I guess it comes under the delegate if dangerous to one's health kind of task! So bearing that in mind, I wonder if I could delegate the dislocations I get from running my fingers through my hair, with the angst of it all. No not even I dear blog would be that mean, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. So I shall continue not to mind because do you know what blog, I will NOT let this EDS beat me. So there.

Large writing again today, will have a look in a mo to see quite how large. Well life without a laptop is interesting for a person like me. This borrowed one, seems to get too hot and my bendy fingers are finding the keyboard rough going. Seem to have had a busy day, chasing my tail. I feel in a very good mood indeed for no particular reason. Perhaps its the roaring fire adding to the ambience,OT topped it all up fireguarded it all due to spitting logs and left me to catch up on emails etc.. which is funny in itself as I don't have any which is greatas it means I can catch up on reading blogs I like. The Bendy Girl's blog as usual always interesting reading. Thinking of adding the gadget thingy on this one so that I can just click on the one'sI enjoy, which would save time I expect. thinking of a relation who has had massive surgery and realising because we normally email I have no recent record of address to send get well card, which has made me realise that with no laptop it is sad that I rely so heavily on the internet that I haven't kept my 'real'life address book up to date. Now that has gone on my to do list.
Thats it today blog, nothing important just me popping in to blog about nought.

Well here I am again for a very short post, just read on the blog I read about another person with EDS who shall remain nameless and noticed that copyright had got very strict so am not sure whether I am even allowed to mention the pseudonym of the person who writes the blog. So from now on if I do forget and mention that blog which I am not allowed to I had better refer to it as something different, thinking about it am not sure am even allowed to refer to the blog for worrying about breaking a copyright. Its all very confusing, so perhaps it will be better not to mention that blog anymore. I am sure though that on 'that blog' other blogs with copyright rules are mentioned I wonder how that works. So as far as the whole copyright thing goes I am a novice. I don't expect its a worry for me though as have no doubt that I am the only one that reads this diatribe anyhow. Nevertheless, should you be thinking of copying, or using any material in this blog please don't as copyright applies and all content is owned by the owner of this blog, no material etc from this blog should anywhere else other than here without the specific permission of me. Does that cover all that worrying stuff. I suppose thats the trouble with the internet you never really know who may be wanting to use other peoples thoughts to make a fast buck!
Daughter with EDS has tortillcollis again. This runs in our family and is painful.
may come back later to write some more but have no laptop at present so relying on borrowed time!
