Ok I don't mind 'sorry we are unable to complete your request' on blogger occassionally. But for the past twenty four hours I have tried to comment on some of my very favourite blogs. Blogger will just not let me. So I am interested in sustainability and wrote as usual a long comment last night and then again tonight and I blogger is unable again to complete my request. Others have also nearly got me and my comments littering the blogosphere. There seems to be no reason for this and I have checked. So for tonight I am off to watch a DVD because I am getting cross now.

I had problems with Blogger for about 24 hours (Thursday evening into Friday afternoon). I think they were doing maintenance and then hit a problem. Seems OK now though.

i thought i was going a bit crazy when, i cant remember what night it was i read your comment on my blog, (about the stanmore blog) then the next day when i logged on it wasnt there!!!! i know im confused but im sure i read it. now i know i did. thanks for the reply have now read the stanmore blog, a balanced view i think. thanks again. x
Thank you both I knew they were doing essential 'work' and checked the times and dates, which is fine but the rest was definitely a problem. I feel very sorry for the people who were trying to sort it out. Imagine if all the bloggers came out of the woodwork..... and got cross. Bearing in mind they provide a very good service on the whole I forgive them.
Still odd em, that the post disappeared! Try looking in your comments facility on blog to see if its there! At least you got to read the linked blog. My trouble is I hate to leave my animals and whilst I would know it was in my best interests the staying at Stanmore bit would be the thing I would freak out a bit about.

Anyway I was having trouble with Blogger. My comments vanished or wouldn't go through and a post I made showed up a day later (I was wondering where it went cuz really... I didn't finish it but oh well...)

I have been swearing at Blogger all week. Mind you even when it's not technically 'down' I swear at it because I forget my password, or how to post, or press publish instead of save, or......
There do seem to have been a lot of problems on blogger recently. One thing I read yesterday that may help is using the Google Chrome browser. Apparently the issues aren't as bad when you use that. The browser having the worst issues is IE. It may be worth a try.

Isn't it just the worst when you compose the perfect comment and then POOF it is gone?? When will I learn to use my Word program or even just open up Notebook/Notepad, THEN if the comment goes poof, at least I didn't lose it all....but how often do we do that and isn't it easier to just push 'leave comment' right on a blog??
I hope that you are feeling better honey, I was concerned after the last comment you left on my blog, then come here and see that you haven't posted recently...I would very much like us to exchange emails so we can keep in touch a bit easier.
