At the moment I am getting strange sensations on my scalp, which come from nowhere. Earlier we were sitting watching tv when I felt as though I was getting mini electric shocks/tingling under the skin on my scalp. I tried ignoring it until husband asked if my eye was ok as that was drooping. How nice it had been before this, a rare moment on our own in front of a roaring fire. I have been having this on and off for a while. It does seem to coincide with a flare of PHN, so I guess nerve endings. Sometimes it occurs when I bend my neck. No matter.
The days I like were just like today. A lazy Sunday.

i get the tingling although i think its the tablets im on. as when i first took them i was aware of this feeling. neck pain. oh its eased off now, although at times i get a feeling like someone is pressing my neck with an iron. strange. thanks for the potsie link. oh and for my neck best wishes. hope your weller. xxx

Tingling, burning, shooting pain is nerve pain. A BIG sign of instability in the neck: impinging nerves.
Droopy face and eyes are impingement of cranial nerve 7. IE: the earlier conversation about joint laxity in the neck causing chiari, also causes this problem. I have a droopy face and a weak smile, and the more tired I get, the worse it gets.
