Thats me - I have pleurisy, drowning.
Today I have read The Curious Incident Of The Dog in the Night-Time (Mara Haddon). An extraordinary read. Apart from being an exceptional read I particularly liked the font chosen for print.
Because I have been in bed all day I have been able to read, which is something I normally find painful because my rubbish hands can no longer hold a book. I absolutely abhor book holders they are designed for those who sit at tables and are definately not designed for the hypermobile who find it hard to sit in one position for any length of time. Today I was suitably sick that bed was where I needed to be and therefore books were able to be propped up with pillows.
So if i am not about for a few days I will be concentrating on feeling better, much better than I feel right now!

Oh no, not pleurisy! Make sure you get lots of rest and then even more rest just to make sure.
Feel better soon.
xx
Oh no! Pleurisy is horrible. Stay in bed (propped up) for as long as you can. xox Kim
Oh noes! Hope you are feeling better really soon. To aid your recovery & future reading you'll be wanting a gimble. http://www.gimbleuk.com/
I was given them (you get 2 sizes) for a birthday present & they're absolutely fab. Takes all the weight/strength out of holding a book, & often they balance themselves. It can be a little tricky at first for bendy fingers to get the hang of page turning, but there's a knack to sliding the page out & in which probably suits the hypermobile hand better than others. Oh, and for around a fiver it's not too awful if it's not right for you. I love mine though!
Hope you're resting up & being well looked after! Big hugs n love BG Xxx
hoping your feeling better soon. read as much as you can. xxx
Poor you, I hope you're feeling better soon. Make you get plenty of rest.
I sure hope you are feeling better soon - but that's a good book to be cooped up with! How many blue cars did you see today? Was it a good day?!
